Art Appreciation
This is a minor course offered to all Sophomore students for the full year. The class is based primarily in Art History yet offers a way for the students to understand and learn to appreciate the artists thoughts and efforts in their work. There is some studio work that is done in this class, with no prior knowledge needed.

Art 1
Art 1 is a major class that is open to all Juniors and Seniors that have an interest in art, no talent is necessary. The students will be introduced to a wide variety of art mediums and tools to give a general idea of what you can do with art. This is a project based class that also includes some writing to help the students talk a bit about their own work as artists. The teacher tries to get the students ready for any college art class they might encounter.

The goal of this class is to better prepare students who are interested in studying art in college for the types of projects that they will encounter. The students will be focusing primarily on figure drawing, specific techniques in Acrylic and Watercolor paints and an introduction into clay. The students will be building on skills that they learned in Art 1.

This is a minor course offered to all Juniors and Seniors to help become acquainted with the basics of Adobe Photoshop software. This class meets once a week and students will be learning skills on both the computer as well as the iPad.

Crafts of Many Cultures
This is a minor course offered to all Juniors and Seniors who love are, but are not interested in majoring in Fine Arts. This class meets once a week and introduces the students to a wide variety of crafts, focusing on those from different cultures around the world. Some of the projects that will be done are Origami, Egg dying, Leather working and much more.
